Carol Anne Williams gives a heart-rending performance in this one-woman play by British playwright Willy Russell about an English housewife, who ruminates on life and love, as she talks to the wall and peels potatoes for hubby’s dinner.

Shirley packs an emotional punch as bittersweet realizations about broken dreams and a marriage gone stale are lightened by her sharp wit. Determined to find her old self, and take back her life, she goes on a trip to Greece to “fall in love with the idea of living”.
